Profile
Valentina was born in Rome, Italy. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering form Drexel University in June 2005 and January 2008, respectively. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. with a concentration on power systems. She holds a teaching assistant position in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, and she is a research assistant at the Center of Electric Power Engineering (CEPE). She first became involved with CEPE during her undergraduate career at which time she helped with the testing and design of the Reconfigurable Distribution and Automation Control Laboratory (RDAC). Her research work currently focuses on mathematical modeling and simulation of multi-frequency power systems.
