Profile
Valentina was born in Rome, Italy. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in June 2005 form Drexel University, where she is currently pursuing her Master and Ph.D. with a concentration on power systems. She holds a teaching assistant position in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, and she is a research assistant at the Center for Electric Power Engineering. She first became involved with CEPE her Junior year at which time she helped with the testing and design of the Reconfigurable Distribution and Automation Control Laboratory (RDAC). Her main research interest currently include: switch and fault detection in distribution systems, transient studies, and blind/semi-blind equalization studies.
